SYCAMORE SUMMER CAMP FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

SUMMER CAMP DATES & TIMES
- Sycamore offers 7 weeks of summer camps. Sycamore summer camps are All-Day (8:30-4:00) or 3-hour camps offered in the morning (8:30-11:30am) and in the afternoon (1:00-4:00pm).
- WEEK 1: JUNE 8 - JUNE 12
- WEEK 2: JUNE 15 – JUNE 19 **NO CAMPS FRIDAY, JUNE 19
- WEEK 3: JUNE 22 – JUNE 26
- ** NO CAMPS FROM JUNE 29 – JULY 3
- WEEK 4: JULY 6 – JULY 10
- WEEK 5: JULY 13 – JULY 17
- WEEK 6: JULY 20 – JULY 24
- WEEK 7: JULY 27 – JULY 31
SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION
- Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Enrollment will be limited.
- A Payment of 50% for each camp is required to confirm your summer camp registration.
- You will be required to set up a payment plan for the outstanding balance.
- All camps must be paid in full by July 26, 2026
- Registration for all camps will CLOSE two weeks prior to the start of camp.
SUMMER CAMP REFUND/TRANSFER POLICY
- 100% refund if registration canceled more than 3 weeks prior to the start of the camp.
- A $25 processing fee will be charged to all canceled camp registrations.
- 50% refund if registration is canceled less than 3 weeks, but more than 2 weeks prior to the start of the camp
- NO refund will be given when registration is canceled less than 2 weeks prior to the start of the camp.
- A full refund will be provided when a camp is canceled by Sycamore School.
- The $25 processing fee will be waived in this circumstance.
- Transfers will be permitted, prior to the close of camp registrations, when camp enrollment is still available. Transferred camps become non-refundable.
- Refund exceptions, due to extenuating circumstances, will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

SUMMER CAMP EXTENDED CARE
- Summer Camp Extended Care opens at 7:30am and closes at 5:00pm. The cost is $150 per week.
- Summer Camp Extended Care is only available to currently enrolled Sycamore students and their siblings registered for a summer camp, during the same week.
- Summer Camp Extended Care is INCLUDED with all all-day camps.
- Summer Camp Extended Care is INCLUDED when any student is registered for both an AM & PM camp, during the same week.
- Summer Camp Extended Care is not available if a Sycamore student is not enrolled in a summer camp.
DROP-OFF PROCEDURES
- Drop-off will be at Sycamore’s main entrance no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the start of camp (8:15am for AM camps & 12:45pm for PM camps).

- Students will be checked in at the summer camp check-in table prior to entering the building.
- Parents are asked to walk their child to their camp classroom on the Monday of the start of each camp.
PICK-UP PROCEDURES
For pick-up parents will park their car, enter Sycamore’s main entrance and head directly to their child’s camp. Campers will be picked up from their classroom by their parent/guardian. Sycamore summer staff will be available to help direct parents/guardians to the correct classroom.
- Pick-up when attending an AM camp only, must be no later than 11:40am
- Pick-up when attending a PM camp only, must be no later than 4:10pm.
- A late fee of $5/minute will be applied to any child not picked up by the above mentioned times. Fees will be collected by the end of the camp.
LUNCH & SNACKS
- Sycamore does not provide lunch during summer camps.
- Students participating in both an AM & PM camp or an ALL-DAY camp during the same week should bring a lunch from home. Lunch supervision will be provided by Sycamore summer staff.
- Students participating in Summer Extended Care should bring a lunch from home. Lunch supervision will be provided by Sycamore summer staff.
- A snack will be provided during AM & PM camps.
POTTY TRAINING/EARLY CHILDHOOD CAMPERS - To help ensure a positive experience for all children, we ask that children under the age of five be potty trained or in the process of learning to use the restroom independently. Children should be able to manage their clothing and clean themselves with minimal assistance.
