At Sycamore School, gifted students find a home where they feel both loved and challenged in a community that wants nothing more than for them to thrive. Sycamore fills a niche, serving high ability students who are inquisitive and learn differently. Our teachers are trained to discern what students need and individualize learning for a rich and challenging experience.

Meeting the needs of Sycamore students has always been top priority, and with each campaign—and annual fund growth—a stronger culture of philanthropy has emerged. Supporters care deeply about Sycamore and its students and they demonstrate that in many different ways—giving through their time and treasure. 

The significant capital improvements to Sycamore School over time are impressive— and they were possible because of the love and generosity of the Sycamore community. The flagship educational experience and the accomplishments of our students, faculty, and staff are the payoff—as Sycamore graduates go on to impact their families, communities, and the world.

When Sycamore began in 1985, funds were needed to make the school better, to increase opportunities, and to thrive supporters and friends stepped up to make it happen. The passion that fueled a group of parents to create a school for their children still beats in the hearts of our community members today.
