Sycamore competed in the Indiana Junior Academic Quiz Bowl tournament on February 28, with Sycamore A (Aarnav Silodia, Allison Jeray, Joseph Zhu, Gavin Ceppa, and Lydia Clemens) winning the state championship with a record of 7-0. The win also qualifies Sycamore for the Middle School National Championship Tournament in Chicago on May 9-10.
Sycamore B (Jonathan Lin, Zoe Singh, Ellis Moy, Alice Howard, Alan Shen, and Albert Jiang) finished 3rd with a record of 5-2. Congratulations to both teams on a great state tournament.
Aarnav Silodia averaged 90 points per game to lead all scorers and Allison Jeray was 3rd overall in scoring as an individual.
