Sycamore team is on its way to Washington, DC for the 2024 National Science Bowl Competition this weekend (April 25-29). With a first place overall at regionals in March at Indiana State University, Sycamore will represent the state of Indiana in the national competition, and looking for a third consecutive top 5 finish.
Team members are Justin Warren (8th), Gavin Sigua (8th), Shayen Maun (8th), Allison Jeray (6th), and Alex Bramhill (8th).
Sycamore is coached by longtime Sycamore science teacher David Schuth, in his 13th year in the position. His teams have earned a spot at Nationals ten times. Schuth coached Sycamore to a 5th in the nation finish the previous two years, and to a national runner-up in spot in 2016.
