THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE AUCTION: Here’s our FAQ that serves as a reminder to those familiar with, and those who may have never attended, the Sycamore Auction for Advancement.
What is the Auction for Advancement?
It’s a fun adult evening that raises many thousands of dollars to benefit the school and the students.

Who attends?
It is open to everyone, and is a great mix of Sycamore parents, friends, teachers and administrators.

What has the money raised been used for?
We have bought computers and other electronic equipment, enhanced the library and playground, installed an outdoor teaching garden.

How does the bidding work?
You have two ways to bid: we have a silent auction that starts at 7 p.m., with bidding done via your cell phone, and there is fun, live auction during the evening.

What is Fund-An-Item?
Each year, attendees are given the opportunity to directly fund items wished for by the school.  This year, you can give to purchase iPads for student use in classrooms.

What about food and drink?
Your ticket includes visits to the popular hors d’ oeuvres stations, plus a cash bar.
