The Philosophy of Harry Potter

July 16th - 26th, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, 3rd - 6th Grade, Cost $230 for both weeks, $135 for one week.  The portkey is opening for two weeks to Ilvermorny, the North American equivalent of Hogwarts! Upon being sorted into one of four houses (Thunderbird, Pukwudgie, Wampus, Horned Serpent), you will receive your schedule including daily coursework and extracurriculars. Delve into the Philosophy of Potter (study of classic philosophy as it pertains to the Harry Potter series), interpret Ancient Runes (archeological study), break down Charms (classical language study), write for The Daily Owl, join your house's Quidditch team -- the options abound! Elementary Problem Solving and Computer Science

July 16th - 27th, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, 3rd - 4th Grade, Cost $275 for both weeks, $150 for one week.  Students will spend half the morning solving interesting math problems in Elementary Problem Solving with and the other half of the morning writing programs in Elementary Computer Science. 

Sycamore Academy Summer Scholars

June 18th - 22nd, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, 4th - 8th Grade, Cost $275 for the week.  The Sycamore Academy Summer Scholars day camp is tailored toward academically motivated and curious students looking for an invigorating summer camp experience designed to challenge the students academically in a fun atmosphere.  The goal is to provide high academic impact while maintaining a low stress environment typical of a summer camp.  Each morning students will experience 2 academically challenging courses followed by an all camp activity.  Each afternoon students will have a resource time to work on material from the morning classes and then finish with an exciting, week long problem based learning activity.
