The event is designed to heighten girls’ interest in STEM careers and help them select high school courses that will lead to success in college. The conference features a series of small group workshops led by women whose professions include cardiology, mechanical engineering, coding, veterinary medicine, and many more!
Registrants will participate in five hands-on workshops from a list of over 30 career choices. This year’s conference will also feature two special science-related programs: Spaced Out STEM by the NASA Glenn Research Center, and How Music Works - Vibrations and Soundsby The Fourth Wall. The $35 registration fee includes lunch and a theater presentation. Please contact Judith Mills at email@example.com for additional information.
Although parents may not attend the conference with their daughters, they are encouraged to attend a free parent forum from 2:00-3:00 in the theater at Sycamore School. Detective John Pirics of the Carmel Police Department will present Keeping Our Children Safe in a Digital World.
