  • Week 1: Game Incubator 6/1 - 6/4, 8:30 - 11:30 AM

    June 1 - June 4, 8:30 – 11:30AM, Grades K through 4, Cost $144.  Ever wonder what scientific methods go into creating a game?!?!  Want to create games of your own?!? During this camp, students will use skills like observation, making predictions, creating/testing ideas, collaboration, and problem solving, all while creating their very own original games.   • Week 1: Kids' Lab 6/1 - 6/4, 8:30 - 11:30 AM

    June 1 - June 4, 8:30 - 11:30AM, Grades 1 through 4, Cost $144. Ever wonder how science impacts your everyday life? During this exciting week, students will investigate the lives of our flying friends - birds, bugs, and bats, create bubbly, fizzy, and colorful chemical concoctions, build structures as they experiment with which shapes are the strongest, and explore our environment on Earth.   • Week 1: Math Masters 6/1 - 6/4, 8:30 - 11:30 AM

    June 1 - June 4, 8:30 – 11:30AM, Grades 3 and 4, Cost $144. Calling all Math Masters!! During this amazing week, students will practice math concepts, use logic and problem solving, and hone their math skills, all while participating in fun and exciting math games and activities.   • Week 2: Harry Potter World 6/7 - 6/11, 8:30 - 11:30 AM

    June 7 - June 11, 8:30 – 11:30 AM, Grades 3 through 6, Cost $180. Hogwarts is coming to Sycamore!! After designing their wizarding world, students will attend classes like Potions 101, Care of Magical Creatures, Transfiguration, and Dueling during this spellbinding week.   • Week 2: Art Extravaganza, 6/7 - 6/11, 8:30 - 11:30 AM

    June 7 - June 11, 8:30 – 11:30 AM, Grades K through 4, Cost $180. It is said that “art is something that makes you breathe with a different kind of happiness.” Well… be ready to get happy with this amazing art camp led by Mrs. Sweigart.  During this week, students will create, explore, paint, craft, and much, much more.     June 7 - 11, 8:30 - 11:30AM, Grades K – 8, Cost $180.   Do you know how to play chess?  Never played?  No problem!  Are you a good player who wants to improve?  This is the camp for you!  Taught by the locally famous Learning Through Games group that is known for making chess fun!  Camp will consist of fun lectures, recess, and enjoyable chess games!  Good camp for all levels.  Instructor: Learning Through Games

  • Week 3: Jeanie Gensheimer Martial Arts Camp, 6/14 - 6/18, 1:00 - 4:00 PM

    June 14 - June 18, 1:00 - 4:00PM, Grades 1 through 6, Cost $180. During this week, students will have a great time learning karate from Sensei Jeanie Gensheimer, a 7th degree black belt in Shorei Goju Ryu. They will not only learn the appropriate use of karate, but they will also gain confidence and problem solving skills in a fun and supportive environment.  Benefits include focus, balance, strength, discipline, coordination and personal development.   • Week 3: Bughouse Chess 6/14 - 6/18, 1:00 - 4:00 PM

    June 14 – June 18, 1:00 – 4:00PM, Grades K – 8, Cost  $180.  Do you like chess?  Then you will LOVE Bughouse!  This game has the complexity of chess while at the same time begin fast paced, fun, and team oriented.  Kids will learn teamwork and tactics taught by the locally famous Learning Through Games group.  The fun never ends in Bughouse Chess!   • Week 3: Coach Branigan's Basketball Camp, 6/14 - 6/18, 8:30 - 11:30 AM

    June 14 - June 18, 8:30 – 11:30AM, Grades 2 through 4, Cost $180. Improve your young player’s fundamental basketball skills with this awesome sports camp! With 18 years of coaching experience at all grade levels, Coach Branigan will help participants learn to improve their footwork, dribbling, passing, and shooting through exciting drills, games, and activities. Individualized instruction, partner work, and team play skills will promote good sportsmanship and build character during this seriously fun week! Instructor: Kevin Branigan

    June 14 - June 18, 8:30 - 11:30AM, Grades 3 through 5, Cost $180. Grab your passport as we take a journey around the world! Each day, students will visit a new country through literature, language, games, art, history, and geography. Come and discover the thrills and excitement of lands around the world without ever leaving Sycamore. Instructor: Julie Thornburg

    June 14 - June 18, 8:30 to 11:30AM, Grades K through 8, Cost $180.  This camp is for kids that love strategy games.  There will be fun lectures, interactive learning games, and recreation.  Games include Chess, Chess variants, Axis and Allies, Risk, Stratego, and much more!  Kids can also bring in their own games to be played.   • Week 4: Multimedia Art Exploration, 6/21 - 6/25, 1:00 - 4:00 PM

    June 21 - June 25, 1:00 - 4:00PM, Grades 1 through 4, Cost $180. Join Mr. Betsey on this ultimate adventure in art exploration!  During this camp, students will be introduced to a variety of image making techniques to achieve maximum impactful results. Printmaking, collage, and other art mediums will be explored and practiced as students learn principles of art and design.  Believe me - you don’t want to miss out on this experience! Instructor: Josh Betsey
  • Week 5: Funny Bones: Summer Edition, 6/28 - 7/2, 8:30 - 11:30 AM

    June 28 - July 2, 8:30 - 11:30 AM, Grades 1 through 4, Cost $180. Want to learn and perform a musical in a week?  Funny Bones, the popular after school activity, is being offered as a summer program experience. During this week, students will design simple costume and set pieces, learn dialogue and music, and even perform! We would love for you to join us for this spectacular experience.   • Week 6: All Sports Camp, 7/12 - 7/16, 8:30 - 11:30 AM

    July 12 - July 16, 8:30 - 11:30AM, Grades 1 through 4, Cost $180. This camp is perfect for the athlete who enjoys a variety of sports and recreational games! During this camp, students will be taught skills and techniques for many popular sports.   • Week 7: Pottery Wheel Fusion - STEAM, 7/19 - 7/23, 1:00 - 4:00 PM

    July 19 - July 23, 1:00 - 4:00PM, Grades 1 through 6, Cost $180 PLUS $25 lab fee. Learn about dinosaurs, rare birds, mazes, and other exciting topics, then build these creations in clay! Students will combine clay, glass, and the pottery wheel each day to create 5 awesome projects to go along with their learning.
