Spirit Day

Spirit filled the gym during the 2007 Spirit Day – Sycamore's energy-filled ceremonial kick-off to the school year. Opening the event was the singing of the national anthem, followed by the head of school introducing the new students and teachers joining Sycamore this fall. The five founders currently on staff then lead the crowd in a rousing rendition of our school song, waving Sycamore bandanas. The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the new name of our school eagle mascot. Chosen from 402 student entries from all grade levels, the winner was: Talon Ted.
