Auction for Advancement

Each year the Sycamore School Association (SSA) organizes and hosts the school's primary fundraising event, the Auction for Advancement. The 2007-2008 auction is scheduled for Saturday, February 9, 2008.

Countless hours of volunteer spirit create an extraordinary evening of friend raising, fund raising and FUN!

The gymnasium is transformed into a lovely themed social gathering venue. A silent auction (peppered with staff member talent donations) cocktails, dinner, and leadership remarks are followed by a spirited live auction, offering one-of-a-kind experiences and gift packages.

During the live auction, an opportunity is presented to “Fund-an-Item.” A specific campus enhancement is designated for restricted cash gifts. Support for this auction offering has resulted in new playground equipment, new school computers, theater light and sound equipment, and an outdoor nature lab.

A portion of the general auction proceeds supports the school's financial aid budget with the balance added to the Annual Giving campaign's revenues for additional school enhancements.
