Dear Parents,

Within these electronic pages you will find the story of an amazing school. Sycamore is a private independent school with a unique mission to serve the needs of academically gifted learners. We are the only school of our kind in the state of Indiana, and one of only a few such schools in the nation.

I am entering my twentieth year with Sycamore, and I have two grown children who are Sycamore graduates. From personal experience I can guarantee you that Sycamore has three unique offerings for your child:

• An intellectual peer group that is critical to the successful education of a gifted child,

• A curriculum that has been specially written to address the academic needs of the gifted learner,

• A faculty trained and experienced in educating gifted kids.

The most common reaction among first time visitors to Sycamore is a comment about the positive atmosphere and energy at the school. We have tried to communicate our passion for educating gifted children on this website, but nothing compares with experiencing our school first-hand.
